What ShipDR collects
Your account (email, name, a hashed password, and an avatar if you upload one), the website you track (name and URL), the submissions you record (directory, method, what you paid), the results of verification checks, and your purchase records (amount, date, Stripe session reference).
What ShipDR never sees
Your card number. Payments run entirely through Stripe; ShipDR only learns that a purchase succeeded. There are no advertising trackers and no third-party analytics on the site.
Cookies
Two, both essential: a session cookie that keeps you signed in, and a small cookie remembering which of your websites you are viewing. Nothing tracks you across other sites.
Services ShipDR relies on
Cloudflare hosts the app and the database. Stripe processes payments. Ahrefs answers Domain Rating lookups for tracked domains. DataForSEO returns the public backlink profile of your website once, when you add it. Each sees only what that job requires.
What other users can see
Per-directory aggregates only: how many products hold a verified live listing somewhere, the verified backlink types, and average prices paid. Your rejections, skipped directories and individual spend are never visible to anyone else. A live listing is already public on the directory that published it.
Emails
Only about your own account and backlinks, and only when there is something real to say (a payment receipt, a dropped backlink). No marketing mail without your explicit consent.
The browser extension
The domain you name as yours is kept in your own browser and never sent anywhere. What the extension does send is the hostname of the tab you are on, to read that domain’s public Domain Rating: when you open the popup, and, if you switch the optional toolbar badge on, when you visit a site. Each host is looked up at most once a day. The page itself is read inside your browser and never leaves it: ShipDR receives no page content, no URLs beyond that hostname, and no browsing history. The Domain Rating and the link check need no account. The submission kit is the one part that does, because it hands back answers you wrote while signed in here; nothing about the page you are filling is sent anywhere.
Retention and deletion
Your data stays while your account exists. To delete your account and its data, email support@shipdr.dev from the account email; deletion covers your account, your tracked website and its submission history.
Changes and contact
If this policy changes materially, the date below changes with it. Questions: support@shipdr.dev.
