The small failures that void a backlink without saying so

No sign-up, one live fetch each, nothing stored. Every one of them runs the same read ShipDR performs on every listing it verifies, and every one says plainly what it could not see.

Two of these belong in the toolbar

The Domain Rating read and the link check are the two you want while you are on the page, not after you have left it.

The extension does both on whatever tab you have open: any site’s DR, and whether that page really links to yours and what the link passes.

No account, nothing stored, and it says so plainly when a page renders its links with JavaScript or routes them through a counter, because a link it cannot see is an absence rather than a verdict.

What these have in common

Every one of them reads the thing that decides the outcome rather than the thing that describes it.

The open graph checker fetches the image instead of trusting the tag.

The redirect checker reads the headers on each hop instead of following the chain and reporting where it ended.

The noindex checker reads the response header as well as the markup, because half of the answer is never in the document.

They also refuse to state what they did not observe.

A page that answers with an error is reported as unreadable rather than as a page with no tags, because absence can only be read from a response that actually arrived. Each tool says plainly what it cannot see.

Why each of these matters, and what the answer means once you have it, is written up in the 21 guides.

Ten checks you can run. One product that runs them for you.

Each of these answers one page at one moment, which is the right shape for a question you are asking right now. The failures that cost makers backlinks happen months later, on someone else's site, with no notice.

ShipDR runs these same reads on every directory listing you track, on a schedule, and reports the day an answer changes.

  • Every listing rechecked on a schedule, not once
  • Live, dofollow and indexable, read from the page itself
  • Told the day a backlink drops or flips
