What these have in common
Every one of them reads the thing that decides the outcome rather than the thing that describes it. The open graph checker fetches the image instead of trusting the tag. The redirect checker reads the headers on each hop instead of following the chain and reporting where it ended. The noindex checker reads the response header as well as the markup, because half of the answer is never in the document.
They also refuse to state what they did not observe. A page that answers with an error is reported as unreadable rather than as a page with no tags, because absence can only be read from a response that actually arrived. Each tool says plainly what it cannot see.
Ten checks you can run. One product that runs them for you.
Each of these answers one page at one moment, which is the right shape for a question you are asking right now. The failures that cost makers backlinks happen months later, on someone else's site, with no notice. ShipDR runs these same reads on every directory listing you track, on a schedule, and reports the day an answer changes.
- Every listing rechecked on a schedule, not once
- Live, dofollow and indexable, read from the page itself
- Told the day a backlink drops or flips
